The Minister of Tourism, Morena Valdez, attended this Thursday, December 14, the morning interview of TCS’ Frente a Frente to talk about the actions carried out this Christmas season, including official statistical data of how many visitors have entered the country this year.
“We ended 2023 with very good data. Up to November, 3 million visitors and $3.4 billion in foreign exchange have been reported,” the minister highlighted and announced that soon the $106 million loan from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), which seeks to boost tourism in this area, will begin to be executed in the eastern part of the country.
On the other hand, Morena Valdez emphasized that the Puerta del Diablo is already open to the entire population and reiterated that “transportation from Balboa Park” is available.
“We want to develop more infrastructure projects in our tourist destinations and specialize in human talent,” Valdez said.
