The magazine, which is distributed in all embassies, luxury hotels, and Delhi Golf Club in the country, also highlights cultural destinations such as the Cihuatán Archaeological Park, the Tazumal Archaeological Park, and Joya de Cerén.

El Salvador is the most vibrant country in Central America, the land of volcanoes. This is how Travel Jingles, a tourism magazine of the Embassy of India, describes the Thumb of America in its most recent publication where it highlighted the warmth, cultural and gastronomic richness, and world-class tourist destinations.
“El Salvador, the smallest and most densely populated Central American country, is known for its beaches and rich history. Its breathtaking landscapes and welcoming culture make it a popular destination,” states the magazine, which opens space for diplomats and high commissioners to discuss travel.

The publication bases its arguments on the statements of Guillermo Rubio Funes, ambassador of the Republic of El Salvador in India, who also confirmed that “there is a lot to do in the territory even though it is a small country, but where you can enjoy the beach, the mountains, and the city in the same day”.
As part of The destinations highlighted in the publication are: El Pital hill, in Chalatenango, the highest peak in El Salvador with 2,730 meters above sea level; and La Palma, the cradle of the palmeño style handicrafts, which was elaborated by the national artist Fernando Llort. Both places have a variety of restaurants and hostels where you can enjoy the climate with temperatures ranging from 10° and below.
The strategies promoted by the government of President Nayib Bukele have allowed international magazines to position the country through their publications and even listed it as the “surfer’s paradise”, home to some of the largest swells and longest waves of the Pacific Ocean.
The publications also highlight Surf City, in La Libertad, a circuit in the coastal area that allows the development of lifestyle surfing, recreational surfing, international surfing championships, surf schools, and summer camps, and where there is a wide range of hotels and restaurants.
During the interview, the diplomat assured that this tourist circuit is key for the generation of investment opportunities in the hotel sector, business tourism, and conventions, as well as thematic events, which can also be attracted by the Walter Thilo Deininger Adventure Park and the Sunset Park Amusement Park, always in the port of La Libertad.
The magazine, which is distributed in all embassies, luxury hotels, and Delhi Golf Club in that country, also highlights cultural destinations such as the Cihuatán Archaeological Park, the Tazumal Archaeological Park, and Joya de Cerén.
“El Salvador is one of the gateways to the Mayan World as we have one of the most significant heritages of humanity which is Joya de Ceren,” he said.
On the other hand, the article also mentions the optimal characteristics for the cultivation of coffee, due to the cool climate, the altitude, and the volcanic soil of the coffee-growing areas.
“The production process is highly perfected, especially the drying process. We obtain very clean, homogeneous coffees, free of defects and with an adequate degree of fermentation, which does not harm, but rather enhances its flavor and brings out its full potential”, emphasizes the Salvadoran diplomat.
The note could not fail to mention the varied Salvadoran gastronomy, whose specialty is pupusas.
“The pupusa, a popular and accessible dish filled with cheese, beans, and pork rinds, is an excellent example of our culinary culture,” added the diplomat.
