This figure represents an increase of 22% compared to the data recorded in 2023.

Four million passengers have been received at El Salvador’s International Airport between January 1 and October 2 of this year.
It was the Autonomous Executive Port Commission (CEPA) that reported a 22% increase in travelers at the air terminal.
“To date, our El Salvador International Airport has served 4 million passengers between arrivals, departures and connections, this represents an increase of 22% compared to 2023,” CEPA highlighted.
It also detailed that more than 34,600 passenger flight operations were carried out between January 1 and September 29 of this year, which represents an increase of 13% compared to 2023.
Regarding import and export data, the institution reports that more than 24.8 million kilograms have been mobilized between January 1 and September 29, 2024, 26% more than the data recorded last year.
