In July 2004, Blue Logistics embarked on its journey, born from the bold vision of the Hilasal Group, internationally recognized for its excellence in towel manufacturing. This new chapter was initiated with diversified strategies to enter the services sector, marking the beginning of an exciting odyssey full of challenges and triumphs.
The initial steps posed a significant challenge; in an environment where our country did not enjoy the status of a Regional Distribution Center in Central America, while Panama shone as the world’s logistical epicenter, Blue Logistics rose supported by the global reputation of the Hilasal Group.
Despite adversities, the spirit of Blue Logistics prevailed. Over time, our operations flourished, giving rise to a close-knit family that now comprises more than 100 collaborators. Fortune smiled upon us, attracting those who are now part of our great family.
Modest beginnings in a 2,000 m² space transformed with perseverance and dedication. Expansion after expansion, we now cover specialized areas such as pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, dedicated warehouses, and chemicals. We have become the largest Logistics Operator in El Salvador, operating under the International Services Law and successfully competing with global leaders in the sector, serving as a REGIONAL LOGISTICS HUB for renowned multinational companies from various industries.
The strategy of growth and geographical diversification marked a key milestone. In August 2016, we decided to expand our operations to Panama, giving rise to BP Logistics in the Panama Pacific Economic Area along with Panamanian partners. From El Salvador, Blue Logistics covers the northern triangle of Central America and the Caribbean, while BP Logistics manages Panama and South America from its Panamanian headquarters.
