Coffee in El Salvador is a jewel that reflects El Salvador’s rich agricultural tradition. With an ideal climate and fertile volcanic soils, El Salvador produces high quality coffees. Coffee farms not only contribute to the local economy, but also preserve sustainable practices.

The country has a solid coffee infrastructure, composed of 19,213 producers, 81 coffee mills, 70 parchment mills, 134 exporters and 39 roasters. In the edition of Cup of Excellence El Salvador 2024, ten Salvadoran farms achieved scores above 90, for which they received the title of presidential coffee, positioning them with a better profile in the international auction.
