San Salvador, Aug 31 (Prensa Latina) The vice president of El Salvador, Felix Ulloa, reiterated today that the country is fully committed to its digital bet and said that the next generation of students in the country will be digital.

During his participation in the event “Seeds for the Future 2024 Summit” held here under the auspices of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco) and the company Huawei, the vice president said that “our next generation of students will be 100 percent digital natives”.
We are already in the full development of the digital era and that was the promise made by President Bukele six years ago, said the senior official at the event, which was also attended by the vice president of the Legislative Assembly, Suecy Callejas, the head of the Ministry of Education, Mauricio Pineda, and the undersecretary of innovation Denis Pocasangre.
The project in which the Chinese company stands out trains young people from the region in key areas for progress such as cloud computing, 5G technology, clean energy and artificial intelligence.
El Salvador executes a work to innovate and strengthen public administration through the Higher School of Innovation in Public Administration (ESIA), bet on the digital economy after adopting bitcoin as legal tender, and prepare current and future generations to face the challenges of the fourth Industrial Revolution, he noted.
