The network of more than 18,000 entrepreneurs and investors in more than 75 countries visited El Salvador last week to explore investment and business opportunities.

The Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO-LAC) visited El Salvador last week to verify the transformations that are being promoted in the country under the Government of President Nayib Bukele, as well as the opportunities and capabilities for the implementation of productive projects and business ideas.

The entity is a network of more than 18,000 entrepreneurs and investors in more than 75 countries, dedicated to learning and strengthening its members, both in business and in other areas of interest.

During their visit to El Salvador, the representatives of the entity seek to confirm the transformations that are being promoted in the country, as well as the opportunities and capacities for the implementation of productive projects and business ideas.

As part of the visit, the panel “Women leaders and their impact in El Salvador” was held, with the participation of the Ministers of Economy, María Luisa Hayem; of Tourism, Morena Valdez; and the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic, Adriana Mira.

The officials shared their experiences within the current Government, as well as the results obtained during the management of their respective State portfolios, before a group of 80 delegates of the aforementioned organization.

They took advantage of the space to highlight the potential for trade, entrepreneurship, investments, and tourism, and from the actions that each one of them promotes in their respective institutions.

“Since my beginnings in the Foreign Ministry, I worked in the area of economic promotion. Precisely, the administration of President Nayib Bukele came to give a new impetus to this economic work, in its different branches, being economic diplomacy as our line of action. Today we see that these efforts are bringing important results for El Salvador,” said Vice Minister Mira.

Regarding the main achievements of these five years, the official highlighted the positive change in El Salvador’s image, which, on an international scale, has been promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Network of Embassies and Consulates to boost relations with traditional partners, as well as with new destinations.

The panel was followed by the impressions of the visitors, who have visited different tourist spots and development poles in the country to learn about and confirm local opportunities.

“It has been an honor to listen to their experiences and their work as part of a cabinet that has transcended and broken schemes, especially in Latin America,” said Ecuadorian businessman Gerardo Villacreces.
